Save Money: If you know how to make it, don’t buy it!
We often buy stuff and spend our money on things that we should have been able to make it by ourselves. As an example, bookmarks. Instead of spending $2.99 or even $4.99 on a piece of bookmark, you can make one for yourself using the stuff you have around you. Probably it won’t be as nice as the one you’ll buy in the shop, but hey, it serves its main purpose - marking the page you’re reading in a book.
I have just made a bookmark for myself using my lens box. I made this bookmark since I want to use it with my Digital Field Guide so that the book will still look good after a few readings.

This is how it looks when I put the bookmark in the middle of the page that I am reading:

Remember that if you save little by little a day - constantly - the money you save will pile up soon enough and you’ll be glad =)

Nice idea for the money box.
